Hundreds of millions of European citizens and representatives of Dutch businesses get into contact with the potential of the single digital market by the end of 2016. Opening up the online public services of your municipality to these individuals, opens up an entire new potential customer base. Connectis prepares Europe for 2018, the year in which member states of the European Union are required under the eIDAS regulation 910/2014 to recognize the eIDs of other member states. The following training has been set up to guide customer-facing staff at the participating municipalities.
Service starts with knowledge
Five categories have been addressed on the Frequently Asked Question page. These multi-lingual sections can be used to become acquainted with the concepts involved. It is advised to read through these concepts before addressing questions of customers.
- The project of Connectis
- eIDAS regulation
- Logging in with your eID
- Registering for an eID
Finally, additional communication advice for participating municipalities is made available by Connectis. In the section ‘Questions specifically for participating municipalities’ the communication products that have been developed are addressed. Below is an overview of the products available.
Customer-facing staff can also contact the communication advisor at Connectis if any questions arise. Furthermore, European citizens and representatives of Dutch businesses can also directly contact Connectis.
