Seven Dutch municipalities share their stories
81 Dutch municipalities participate in the biggest cross-border electronic identification project in the world. By allowing European citizens and representatives of Dutch businesses to access their online public services, the internal processes of the municipalities require changes. Connectis guides these municipalities in their efforts for digitisation.
The municipalities of Almelo, Voorschoten and Wassenaar, Ede, Hoeksche Waard, Leudal, Urk and Wierden have shared their expectations for becoming eIDAS proof. Their reference cases share insights into the opportunities and challenges of providing online public services. An overview of the seven stories can found on the Dutch municipalities page.
Additional support and communication advice for participating municipalities is offered by Debby van der Schuit, Project Manager and Communications Advisor for eIDAS at Connectis.
